For many years, Levi Petersons has worked to improve all aspects of cost-effectiveness. To obtain further advances in competitiveness, we are now working with a partner in Lithuania to reach the right level of costs and price patterns for more labour-intensive volumes where investment in automation cannot be justified.

From 2004, an increasing level and growing proportion of our production will be outsourced to this plant. We will be working mainly on presswork, welding, and assembly in processes with documented routines for the best possible quality.
